Ken Kase, a longtime friend and now leader of "The Ken Kase Group," a popular band in St. Louis. This picture was part of a photo shoot in far northern St. Charles county, up near where the Missisippi and Missouri Rivers meet. TRIVIA NOTE: A colorized version of this photo graced the front cover of my first novel, Dreaming of Laura Ingalls.
