Dreaming of Laura Ingalls

"Just what are you looking for, anyway?"

Megan signed. "It sounds stupid. You remember that scene in E.T.? That one where the alien touched the boy's finger with his finger?"

"Yeah."

"That's what I want. I want a man who can make me glow."

Tom and Megan seem to have a great relationship, perhaps even that perfect one we are all on the search for. But when Megan starts to have dreams about author Laura Ingalls Wilder, in which she is urged to break up with Tom, she realizes that something is wrong. That 'something' turns out to be an unresolved ending to a previous abusive relationship. The couple's subsequent physical and mental journey to deal with it will lead them across the emotional landscape of Chicago and the physical one of the American Midwest. Dreaming of Laura Ingalls is a breathtakingly fresh novel about perfect loves, mental battles, and the desire to squeeze every last drop out of life that you deserve. you are guaranteed to never look at love quite the same way again.

Dreaming of Laura Ingalls was printed in a limited run by GAD Publishing Co. in autumn 1997. I'm pleased and sad to say that the print run sold out in about a year, and the book is no longer for sale. The chance may exist for a reprint in the future.
