...And we're back

I hope everyone had as fun a holiday break as I did; I received my first-ever iPod, among other things, which means I'm ready to start receiving recommendations for podcasts, if anyone would like to leave any in the comments. I've got lots and lots of interesting new stuff coming your way in the next month, including the release of ITG issues 3 and 4; the official opening of new adults-only SL mag -avatar-; and the creation (hopefully) of a brand-new online tool here for residents, which will work for free and which the general public will be able to add to. (Hint: it's something in Second Life's official interface that has notoriously sucked for a long time; and something perfect for implementing in a Web 2.0ey environment.) More news as it develops; and in the meanwhile, you can also look forward to daily entries here again, about the latest cultural offerings within the grid. Coming in the next couple of days, for example, will be an interview with LittleToe Bartlett, winner of Second Life Insider's Yak Shack Showdown to benefit Save The Children. (Disclosure: This was in fact one of the prizes, which I donated as part of the fundraiser: that the winner of the contest would automatically be featured here at this blog.) As always, stay tuned for the latest, or simply subscribe to one of the ITG feeds (found in the sidebar) to stay updated through your favorite news reader.
