On top of being the owner of the Chicago Center for Literature and Photography, and a former award-winning author myself, I have also worked in the corporate arena in one form or another since the early 1990s, in a variety of roles in a plethora of environments. I bring four main types of expert skills to any organization, whether corporate or non-profit:

--I can execute a variety of writing assignments, including copy, persuasive, viral, poetic and more, along with a working knowledge of graphic design;

--I am an experienced editor and creative manager, working now in my own life on both sides of the artistic fence;

--I am also a smart and innovative consultant on a variety of business matters, from crisis management to time management (and in fact also offer a special Getting-Things-Done style "Getting to Zero" weekend workshop for individual executives and artists);

--And I am an educated and proficient futurist, able to provide high-level strategic advice and analysis on issues ranging from the arts to e-publishing, to virtual marketing to the future of podcasting, as well as many more emergent topics.

Rates vary depending on the service, from a flat $100 for "Getting to Zero" workshops to $100 per hour for most long-term corporate contracts. All first consultations are always free.
