I am more than happy to give out my electronic books for free here at my website; I feel that the increase in readers more than offsets whatever small amount of money I might make by forcing people to purchase the books before getting to read them. That being said, an increasing amount of readers have asked how they might be able to donate money to me, in exchange for their enjoyment of any particular title. I thought I would make the option available to anyone who felt like it. In general I recommend donating US$5.00 for any of my short books that you particularly enjoyed, and US$10.00 for any of the longer ones. Of course, you should feel free to donate whatever amount you feel like sending or can afford. You can send donations via check or plain ol' cash to my home address; for obvious reasons, I don't wish to actually publish my home address here on the internet, so if you're serious about making a donation you can just write to me at ilikejason at hotmail dot com to obtain the information. Unfortunately I cannot accept Paypal donations at this time, mostly because I don't own a credit card or a bank account and so have no way of actually retrieving the donations. Yes, I know, I really should get a bank account one of these days. I know, I know. GAD travel fund I get asked on a regular basis to read at out-of-town shows and literary festivals; unfortunately my crappy day jobs don't afford me the chance to take very many people up on the offer. I thought I'd give people a chance to donate to a GAD travel fund, if you'd like to help out with letting me do more touring and out-of-town performances. It's ridiculously inexpensive for me to do an out-of-town show; US$400 can usually get me from Chicago to whatever city I need to go, and sometimes a lot less. If you and your friends would like to pool your money together to bring me to your own city, or if you just feel like making a more substantial donation to help me with future tours, please write to the aforementioned address and let me know. Yes, I accept corporate sponsors! If a store, company or publication would like to sponsor one of my tours, I absolutely promise to wear your t-shirt on stage every night, hang your banner from my microphone, run your logo on my flyers, talk about your great virtues during every performance, even eat your food or smoke your cigarettes on stage while the show is going on. Serious inquiries should be directed to the address listed above. |
