where the silver neon outlines of her dress come alive

where I become the beastie boy I always dreamt I was

or I come out into the audience
and kick your fuckin' asses
like I always dreamt of doing

where she dumps the guy in the baseball cap

and this is the poem
where she goes into the photo booth with me

and kisses me

where I'm a tough guy

when I walk up to her
and say,
“Hey, you don't know me,
but you're beautiful.
